Located on the northern coast, Ritidian
Beach is the northern most point on
Guam and is in a very secluded area of the island. Its isolated
location offers a spectacular look into the natural, unspoiled
beauty of the island. The beach itself is a long stretch of
white, powdery sand beach that offers tourists a chance to swim in
the crystal clear waters or sunbathe in the warmth of the tropical
sun. |
When going to Ritidian Beach
prepare for a long, isolated drive through a mostly uninhabited
area on the island of Guam. The road to Ritidian
Beach is a paved road that for the most part travels along the
perimeter of Anderson Air Force Base, but the road hasn't been up
kept so watch out for potholes! When you arrive at
Ritidian Beach you won't be able to see the beach at first
glance; you will need to go on one |

of the trails through
large trees and tall grass to reach the beach. The road and
beach is managed by the military which provides public access to
the community only during daylight hours. The gate and public
access closes at 4pm so start your trip early if you plan on
staying for a few hours. |
