Joseph Flores Beach Park

Joseph Flores Beach Park and Pavilions

The park is filled with one large pavilion (shown in the background on the left) and many other smaller pavilions that can be used by the general public anytime.  There are about a dozen smaller pavilions scattered throughout the park.  During the weekdays the park is fairly empty and most of the pavilions are free to use.  The larger pavilion is usually reserved during the weekend for holding various private and community events, and the smaller pavilions are usually always occupied as well during the weekends.  So get there early during the weekend if you want a spot!  In the picture you can see the lifeguard tower in the background on the beach behind the large pavilion.  Make sure to bring your barbeque grills as most of the pavilions don't have grills.
