Tarzan Falls Guam

Take Route 17 (Cross Island Road). From the Yona side, pass Windward Hills, Takayama Golf Course, and Our Lady of Peace cemetery. On a ways further, before you come to more houses, look for parking and a small sign on the right hand side of the road.

From the Agat side, pass the racetrack, once you leave the housing areas, look for parking and a small sign on the left. Notice the erosion on the way.

About the hike to the falls. It IS a hike. You can elect to see only the top part (flat, easy walk; covers fire, erosion, some savanna), or you can go all the way to the falls (well worth it!).

The walk straight to the top of the falls is 20-30 minutes, and another 10 minutes down the trail to the bottom of the falls. It's down hill, steep in a few places, so it will take about 35 minutes to climb back up; and it always seems steeper going back up. There's a jeep trail as far as the top of the falls (easy walking, but can be slippery), then a boonie trail to the bottom of the falls, where you can see the falls and enjoy the water of Tarzan Falls.
