Rental Facilities
When you're planning an outdoor event, most of Guam's parks have
facilities that can be reserved for little to no cost. Contact
the Parks and Recreation at 671-475-6288/9 or visit their office in
Tiyan.
Cultural Dance Classes
Learn island traditions through dance at the Paseo Recreation Center.
Classes are every Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and Saturdays from
10am to 4pm. Call 477-8279/8280 for details.
"Boonie Stomp" (Hiking)
Program
Every Saturday, you can join a pre-scheduled hike to many of Guam's
popular natural and historical vistas. Hikes are rated medium,
difficult and very difficult, and you must have your own
transportation to the trailhead. Destinations include Sigua
Falls and World War II tanks, Talofofo caves, Fonte River and Dam,
Mount Lamlam and many more. The cost is only $2 and groups
depart the Paseo Recreation Center promptly at 9am. Weekly
